About The Workshop

Understanding the native needs of any species is the foundation of good health and ethical animal management. In this workshop you will learn what our smallest pets need for mental, emotional and physical well-being, and how you can provide it.

Often, unintentionally, we are keeping our beloved fur-friends in an environment that is stressful to them. Stress is the primary cause of health and behaviour problems. One of the main causes of stress is lack of choice. We will show you how to return the element of choice and provide the natural botanicals they need at the same time. This leads to the healthiest, happiest bunnies you can have.

This workshop is ideal CPD for anyone working with animal care and/or aromatics. But it’s also essential viewing for anyone who keeps small furries themselves. You will receive a certificate of attendance upon completion of the final simple quiz.

You will Learn

  • The biology and psychology of rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, chinchilla, degus, hamsters and other rodents
  • The ideal diet for each species
  • Simple ways to enrich their environment and provide their social needs
  • How to use herbs, hydrosols and essential oils to reduce illness and speed healing

Course Format

The course is presented as 3 x 90 minute recorder Zoom meetings and accompanying reading materials. There is a short quiz to complete at the end to gain your certificate of completion, showing your hours of study.
