I have a 13 year old Cairn terrier client who has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. Without a biopsy they’re not certain but they say it is slow growing. I have been offering for fatty lump and tumor just in case. I’ve offered Angelica, Manuka, Frankincense, Fennel, Ginger, Seaweed.
She has shown very brief interest in Ginger, Angelica, Manuka and Fennel but on the day I offered Seaweed, this is what she wanted. I wasn’t prepared for ingestion and had no base oil with me, so I offered for inhalation only. Next visit, she wasn’t as keen so I hope inhalation was enough.
I’m also trying to support her general health and immune system. She suffers with arthritis. Her front legs shake and give way on her sometimes. I’ve changed her diet but she doesn’t seem to lose weight. Owner is 93 and I’m sure she gets all sorts she shouldn’t. But she is a happy little dog and full of fun and joy.
She has taken a small amount of rosehip powder and wheatgrass powder but gone bonkers for Spirulina. Her lump has gotten much bigger in only a few weeks and it felt warm to me the other day. I offered and she took a small amount of Calendula and Yarrow hydrosols.
I want to support her with the best choices, is there anything else you might suggest? Owner has declined chemotherapy and steroid treatment.
