Hi Nayana, thanks for your reply. Yes, she has tried all sorts of changes to diet and nothing had an effect. Antihistamine also did not work. She is absolutely convinced it is grass mites. Obviously the best way would be to remove the cause, but have not yet found an environmentally and animal friendly way to do this yet. In the meantime the poor dog has to keep having betadine washes to kill the mites and is heavily restricted in where he can be allowed to go.
